About this product
The AlphaTetha GRV6 is a 4-channel DJ controller with a Groove Circuit Mixer, offering effects like pitch shifting, echo, distortion, delay, filter, flanger, loop/sampler, reverb, and more. It features 16 pads, 2 decks, and a tabletop form factor (1U height). Inputs/outputs include 6.35mm TRS/TS, USB in/out. Maximum sampling rate is 24-bit/44.1kHz. Branded by Pioneer DJ, this controller is portable but lacks extensive connectivity. Model GRV6.
Our take
The GRV6 caught my eye with its Groove Circuit Mixer and extensive effects. The 16 pads are great for triggering samples and loops. However, I found the build a bit plasticky, and the lack of dedicated mic inputs is a drawback for vocalists. Given the $719 price, it competes with mid-range controllers, but newer models offer better integration. If you're into experimental sets with heavy effects, this could be fun, but for standard mixing, I'd look elsewhere.
